Our Services
At Aasmi Psychological Services, we offer a range of support options to meet different needs. To assist you in finding the right service, we have organized our offerings into three primary categories: -
If you’re here, something in your life probably feels heavy right now. Maybe it’s anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship struggles, stress, or a sense of being stuck. Wherever you are, we’ll begin there—with what feels most difficult for you at this moment.
I believe therapy starts with really knowing the person, not just the problem. With over 10 years of experience in psychological counselling, I take time to understand your concerns, your life experiences, your emotional patterns, and the history connected to what you’re going through. This helps us look beyond symptoms and understand what’s truly going on for you.
My way of working is gentle, honest, and grounded in an authentic psychological approach. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life situations in a holistic way.
Therapy doesn’t have to be complicated. You don’t need dozens of techniques that are hard to follow. We’ll focus on practical tools and insights that fit into your real life—things you can actually use when emotions feel intense or situations feel overwhelming.
An important part of our work is resolving unresolved emotions—the ones that quietly influence your reactions, relationships, and decisions. As these emotions find space and understanding, you’ll begin to feel more stable, confident, and emotionally balanced.
My goal is not to make you dependent on therapy. It’s to empower you—so that over time, you feel more capable of handling future emotional or mental challenges on your own, with awareness and inner strength.
Having worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, NGOs, and community settings, I deeply value creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and non-judgmental. Therapy with me is a partnership—where you can show up as you are, without pressure to be “okay” all the time.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start.
We’ll take it one step at a time—together.
How We’ll Work Together
Counselling is a professional and ethical process that provides a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for individuals to discuss their concerns, thoughts, and emotions openly. It allows people to explore personal challenges with support, understanding, and respect.
Many people believe that counselling is about giving advice or solutions, but this is a misconception. Counselling is a voluntary and collaborative process. A counsellor does not tell you what to do; instead, they help you explore your thoughts, understand the root causes of your challenges, and identify thinking patterns and beliefs that may be affecting your emotional well-being.
Through counselling, individuals develop self-awareness, emotional insight, and practical coping strategies. These skills help in managing emotions, making rational and balanced decisions, and navigating life’s difficulties more effectively.
Key Aspects of Counselling:
1. A structured and professional process based on ethical practice
2. A confidential and respectful environment
3. A non-judgmental space that values dignity and privacy
4. Not about giving advice, mind reading, face reading, or hypnosis
5. Focused on emotional independence and personal growth
Important Notes:
1. All conversations between the counsellor and client are strictly private and confidential
2. Recording of sessions (audio, video, or phone) is not permitted
3. Counselling conversations cannot be used as legal evidence
Counselling is about empowering individuals with self-awareness, clarity, and emotional resilience, enabling them to face life’s challenges with greater confidence and stability.
